Revamp the Resident Handbook

HOW CAN WE BEST INFORM AND ENGAGE TENANTS THROUGH A RESIDENT HANDBOOK?

Project Description: The Resident Handbook is given to all new tenants upon lease signing and contains useful information on CityHousing Hamilton’s (CHH) expectations of tenants, as well as CHH’s responsibilities as a landlord. This handbook has not been updated in several years. The handbook is due to be updated to be more relevant and accessible for tenants. With this challenge, students can conduct a scan of other housing resident guides as well as survey new and old tenants about what information they would like to have upon lease-signing/move-in to create an updated resident handbook.
