How can workforce housing support economic development initiatives in Hamilton?

Project Description: This project will research how providing housing along the housing spectrum, in  particular workforce housing, may offer benefits in the community.  There is interest in understanding how having a good supply of workforce housing can offer economic benefits and encourage business development in the City of Hamilton. The project may also review how providing housing can have a positive social and financial impact by mitigating emergency situations.  The project deliverable is to develop a methodology that can be used as a key performance indicator to show the economic benefits of a healthy housing spectrum.
