As part of a landscape plan for Auchmar Estate, conduct primary and secondary research highlighting historical uses and current community needs.
Project Description: As part of the adaptive re-use development of the Auchmar Estate as a community facility, the estate grounds will need to be restored in a manner which respects the heritage values of the land and its evolution through time but also meets the needs of the adaptive re-use (e.g. but not limited to: passive recreational use, events, tours). A landscape plan delves deeply into the history of the grounds and identifies goals and specific actions consistent with the larger adaptive re-use strategy.
